Governor Matt Blunt has chosen a successor to outgoing Chief of Staff Ken McClure. He’s Ed Martin, a lawyer who currently serves as chairman of the St. Louis City Board of Election Commissioners. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. He earned his law degree from Saint Louis University. Martin, married with a daughter, begins his new duties on September 1st. McClure is leaving the Chief of Staff post to become Associate Vice President for Administrative Services at Missouri State University in Springfield.
