Early indications suggest that Rams No. 1 pick Tye Hill won’t suffer from lack of enthusiasm.

The team’s top pick, 15th overall, wanted to join his new club so bad; he traveled to St. Louis even before the two sides agreed to a five-year deal, Sunday. Hill, a South Carolina native, has already missed four days of practice but did join his new teammates for a team meeting shortly after inking the deal.

Luckily for Hill, the first four days of practice was mostly spent on reviewing schemes learned during the spring’s Organized Team Activities (OTA’s), in which he was in attendance. The toughest thing to come for Hill will be how he handles his conditioning.

Coming into camp, Hill will be competing with Fakhir Brown, Jerametrius Butler, and Travis Fisher for the starting cornerback position.
