The Springfield Cardinals got some strong starting pitching from Mike Parisi and plenty of offense in a 9-3 win over Tulsa, Friday.

Parisi went six innings, allowing just one run on eight hits and inducing three double plays.

The offense was in effect as well. Nick Stavinoha hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Gabe Johnson hit a solo shot in the fifth as the Cardinals built a 8-1 lead going into the seventh inning.

Tulsa tried to make it close; adding two runs in the top of the seventh, but Springfield erased all hope scoring a run of its own in the eighth.

Five Cardinals had multi-hit games. Stavinoha, Travis Hanson, and Johnson each had two RBI.
