Day one of Rams training camp is over. The team practiced twice Thursday, with only one scheduled for Friday afternoon. It was a physical practice. Players were only in shorts and shoulder pads, but that didn’t stop running back Steven Jackson from getting his helmet knocked off during one play. First-round draft pick Tye Hill wasn’t in attendance, the team is still working on getting him signed.

The team is practicing at Rams Park in St. Louis for the second year in a row. Head coach Scott Linehan doesn’t plan on letting the players feel at home, though. He is going to try and keep them healthy however, implementing a two-a-day session, followed by a one-a-day workout. So far, players seem to like the idea. Friday afternoon’s practice is open to the public.
