The Missouri Public Service Commission has voted four-to-one to look into the conduct of AmerenUE after last week’s storms knocked out power to more than half-a-million customers in the St. Louis area and where nearly 40,000 homes remain without electricity. Commissioners says the investigation will be focused on fact-finding and not necessarily pointing any fingers of blame. Other utilities could be drawn into the investigation expected to last for several months.
