The Royals let out some frustration after dropping back-to-back 1-0 losses to the Red Sox. Kansas City used four errors and eight walks to beat the Angels 9-4, Thursday.

The Royals led by three after two innings and never trailed in the game. The Angels did make a game of it, tying it at 4-4 in the fifth. But the Royals responded, scoring five unanswered runs the rest of the way.

David DeJesus led the way for five Royals starters who had multiple hits in the game, driving in two runs.

Elmer Dessens gave up one hit in three innings to earn the win. Angels starter Ervin Santana walked all eight batters and allowed four runs in 4.1 innings but avoided the loss, that distinction went to reliever Kevin Gregg.
