College Democrats are holding their National Convention in St. Louis, hearing from such notables as Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and former Presidential Candidate General Wesley Clark. Clark spoke to the students on Friday. He says there are hundreds of these young Democrats working on ways to make the party successful this November and in the future. Clark also took part in a fundraiser for Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Claire McCaskill. He calls McCaskill a “no nonsense leader” who is not a “roll over rubber stamp follower.” The College Democrats National Convention began Thursday and runs through Sunday at Saint Louis University.
