Steppenwolfer, owned by Springfield’s Robert and Lawana Low, is going to race in tonight’s Virginia Derby.
The thoroughbred finished fourth in the Belmont Stakes, but is looking to fair much better this weekend in the $1 million race.
Steppenwolfer will start from the No. four post and is a 7-2 favorite to win the event against 11 other horses.
