After months of frustration and waiting, Thomas Gardner will finally get to exhale. The former Mizzou guard has signed on to play for the San Antonio Spurs summer league team.
Gardner left the Tigers after his junior season because of concern over playing for new head coach Mike Anderson. The Big 12’s second leading scorer last year is recovering from a finger injury that occurred in a workout with the TrailBlazers.
