The Blues will have to wait for the services of their No. 1 overall pick. Defenseman Erik Johnson will attend the University of Minnesota next fall.
Johnson, a Bloomington, MN native, decided to join the Gophers after spending two years with the USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program.
