President Bush rakes in a million dollars for Senator Jim Talent’s re-election bid after stumping not only for Talent’s campaign, but for his Administration’s Iraq war strategy. Bush told a crowd of about 500 gathered at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Clayton that America must not forget why it entered the war in Afghanistan and Iraq – to battle terrorism abroad before those threats are brought to the United States. Before speaking at the $2,000 a person event, Bush met 10 St. Louis area soldiers who recently returned from the war.
