Two Missourians have been killed in combat in the Middle East. Army Private First Class Brian Bradbury of St. Joseph has died in Afghanistan after a confrontation with enemy forces. His mother has told the St. Joseph News-Press his arm had been severed during the fight and he was being lifted into a hovering helicopter when the cable broke and he fell 30 feet. Marine Corporal Riley E. Baker of Pacific has been killed in Iraq, also during combat operations. In 2002 he was the state class 3A high school wrestling champion. Both were 22-years-old.
