Law enforcement and emergency responders should be a little better prepared to try to trace back the origins of a terrorist or criminal bombing should the unthinkable happen in Missouri. They’ve honed their skills at a rock quarry near Kingdom City in Central Missouri where trainers have blown up a variety of objects. Missouri’s Homeland Security Coordinator Paul Fennewald says some basic crime-gathering techniques have been taught. Fennewald says people might be surprised how much evidence can be traced in a bombing. He points to the conviction prosecutors were able to get against mass murderer Timothy McVeigh after the Oklahoma City bombing.
