A new website provides Missourians with a wealth of information about mental illness – not just about the disease, but about the services available to people. State Mental Health Director Dorn Schuffman has unveiled the Web site: www.missouri.networkofcare.org. Schuffman says it’s a Web site that can trust because it is accurate and is updated regularly. It also is local. Schuffman says one of the best aspects of the site is that it provides information on treatment and services that are offer both in the region and in the county. He says it will allow both patients and their family to access the information they need to determine the proper treatment.
