The Road to Omaha begins today and two Missouri teams will be there to try and add a championship to its season.

Mizzou opens the Malibu Region against host Pepperdine tonight at 5pm. The Tigers come into the tournament with a 31-25 record overall. This is the fourth straight trip to the post season for Mizzou and the 18th overall. Missouri is coming into the regional with a bit of confidence. They’ve won six of their last seven, including two wins in the Big 12 Conference Tournament. UCLA and UC-Irvine are also in the Malibu Regional.

Saint Louis University is also in the tournament. The Billikens went 4-1 and breezed through the winner’s bracket on its way to claiming the school’s first Atlantic 10 title since 1966. The 40 year hiatus landed them a first round game against the second seeded team in the tournament. Saint Louis will play regional host Cal State Fullerton tonight at 10pm. The Billikens are 32-27 overall and will join San Diego and Fresno State in the Cal State Fullerton Regional.
