The Kansas City Brigade wrapped up its first home schedule on Saturday with a 63-42 loss to the Orlando Predators, who clinched the Southern Division Title and a spot in the Arena Football League playoffs.

The Brigade trailed 35-13 at the half, but had a chance to cut into that deficit before time expired. After an interception with less than a minute to go, they failed to get the ball in the end zone. The Brigade even got the benefit of a pass interference call against the Predators with no time left, giving them an extra shot, but to no avail.

The loss dropped Kansas City to 3-12 on the season and they finished their home slate with a mark of 2-6. They’ll finish their first season in Kansas City next week at the Utah Blaze.
