A St. Louis couple has testified to a Congressional committee on the devastating effects of methamphetamine addiction. The committee is considering additional funding to family treatment facilities. 38-year-old Aaronette Noble of St. Louis told committee members she began smoking marijuana at age 7, began drinking at 14 and started using meth at 17. Her husband, Darren, also is addicted to meth. Both say a center in St. Charles that focuses on family treatment save their lives and their family. The Senate Finance Committee is considering a measure that would funnel federal money to family-based treatment centers.
