The Springfield Cardinals scored four runs in the seventh inning to beat the Wichita Wranglers 6-2 on Wednesday night. Iker Franco led off the seventh with a solo home run down the left field line. Rico Washington put the Cardinals up 5-2 with a two-run double and later scored on a fielder’s choice. The Cardinals and Wranglers have split the first four games of their five-game series. The rubber game will be played tonight at Hammons Field.
