The St. Louis Blues dropped their 12th straight game on Thursday night with a 3-0 home loss to Nashville. The defeat set a franchise record for consecutive losses. Earlier this season, the Blues lost 11 straight in a skid that started and ended with losses to the Predators.

Nashville scored a power-play goal in each period for the 3-0 win. Timmo Kimonen got things going in the first period. Shea Weber got his first career goal when he beat Rheinhard Divis in the second period and Paul Kariya capped the scoring with his 28th goal in the third.

The Blues were 0-for-5 on the power-play and are 0-for-18 on the man-advantage in the last three games.

In the midst of the ugliness on ice, Blues fans will do some cheering on Sunday, when the team retires Al MacInnis’ jersey.
