College of the Ozarks is hosting the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament for the seventh straight year. 32 teams are in the field, including College of the Ozarks, which gets a bid regardless of record. For the third year in a row, C. of. O. hasn’t needed that exemption, having won three-straight conference tournaments. This year, they are the 4th seed, the first time they’ve ever been seeded. After starting 4-4, the Bobcats have won 20 of their last 22 games and are 24-6.

In 2000, the first year C. of. O. hosted the tournament, the Bobcats made a run to the national championship game, but lost.

Other Missouri teams in the tournament include 8th-seeded Lindenwood (St. Charles), 8th-seeded William Jewell (Liberty) and 15th-seeded Evangel (Springfield)
