Drury University, which lost in the championship of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament, still finished first in the Great Lakes Region and will host a regional this weekend.

The third-ranked Lady Panthers fell to No. 22 Northern Kentucky 86-73 in Evansville, Indiana on Sunday. They’re 28-2 on the season.

In the MIAA women’s tournament, Washburn won its 49th straight game with a 75-71 win over Central Missouri St. They’ve won two straight MIAA Tournament titles. Washburn senior Jennifer Harris scored 30 of her game-high 33 points in the second half, as WU improved to 30-0 and CMSU fell to 21-9.

Washburn earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women’s Tournament and will host one of eight regionals as the top seed. They face St. Mary’s (Texas) on Friday. Despite the loss, CMSU earned a five-seed at the WU regional and will take on Angelo St. (Texas).
