An otherwise outstanding regular season ended on a down note for the Missouri women’s basketball team. Kiera Hardy’s game-high 28 points lifted Nebraska to a 75-62 win over Mizzou on Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers led by as many as eight points early before the Huskers stormed back to take a 34-30 lead. Nebraska opened the second half on an 11-2 run, and never trailed by more than six after that. In her final home game as a Tiger, LaToya Bond scored 14 points while fellow senior Christelle N’Garsanet added eight points. EeTisha Riddle led Mizzou with 16 points. The Tigers finish the regular season with a 20-8 overall record, 10-6 in the Big 12. Mizzou will be the No. 4 seed at next week’s Big 12 Tournament and will receive a first-round bye. The Tigers will play on Wednesday afternoon in Dallas against either Texas Tech or Oklahoma State.
