Business leaders in Kansas City who hope voters approve financing for a rolling roof to cover the stadiums at the Jackson County Sports Complex say the roof could be worth millions of dollars to area charities. The Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is proposing selling naming rights to the roof. A Chamber spokesman says the Kansas City Chiefs would give two-thirds of the naming rights money to the Greater kansas City Communmity Foundation. The County Legislature still has to approve the idea. The rolling roof is part of the improvements planned for the stadiums if a special sales tax passes next month.
