Northeast Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof says farm-state lawmakers have finally convinced their colleagues to get behind ethanol and bio-diesel. And, Hulshof says it’s paying off. Hulshof says a new national standard will help. The energy bill says the United States should use at least 7.5-Billion gallons of renewable fuel a year. Hulshof says resistance remains among the California delegation, which prefers MTBE, a petroleum derivative that is readily available there.
