A high school student has died from bacterial meningitis in Wentzville. School officials say he had reported symptoms Thursday and died yesterday. The disease is a rare infection of the lining of the spinal cord and brian. The high school and the county health department are notifying anyone who had close contact with the 18-year-old student to santitize classrooms, restrooms, and other areas where he’d been.
