The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team has a week to lick its wounds following the most lopsided loss in the 25 year history of the Braggin’ Rights game. Mizzou’s border brethren, the Illinois Fighting Illini, trounced the Tigers by 32 points – 82-50 in St. Louis. Head Coach Quin Snyder says there was a small margin for error against a team like Illinois, and the outcome proves just how good a team Illinois is. Snyder adds it’s now time for the team to regroup and to not get down. Dee Brown was the top scorer with 17 points. Jimmy McKinney led the Tigers with 11 points. The Tigers get back into action next Wednesday at Mizzou Arena when they host Eastern Illinois.
