The University of Missouri gets a slice of $27-Million in federal investments in support of the nation’s energy workforce. Labor Secretary Elaine Chao has announced the University will benefit from a $2.3-Million grant to specifically prepare workers for careers in the nuclear energy field. The Labor Secretary says the grant doesn’t just target the university, it helps the energy industry, as well. Chao says the fact the employer community is involved means the training will be targeted toward jobs.
