The Secretary of State has approved two more petitions for circulation. One calls for a statewide vote on a change in school funding to allow use of public money for religious purposes and institutions. It also prohibits school districts from raising funds through taxation and says school funding is entirely the province of the state Legislature. The other petition wants to have voters change the medicaid law to reinstate services cut by the Legislature this year and make other changes in the program.
