University of Missouri guard Thomas Gardner has been named the Big 12 Conference’s Co-Player of the Week, along with Iowa State’s Rashon Clark. Gardner averaged 30 points per game last week as Mizzou went 1-1 in games against Davidson and Texas A and M Corpus Christi.

Gardner scored 30 against Davidson and 30 against Texas A and M Corpus Christi, becoming the first Tiger to record back to back 30-point games since Anthony Peeler did it in 1992. In those two games he hit 22-of-42 shots including 13-of-23 three pointers.
