It may not have been pretty, but the Missouri St. Lady Bears’ 46 points against Westnern Illinois University got the job done. MSU hit just 32.6 percent of their shots en route to a 46-41 win over WIU.

The Lady Bears were 9-of-24 from the field in the first half and hit just 6-of-22 in the second half. Kari Koch was the saving grace for Missouri St., scoring 22 points. She was 9-of-13 and finished with eight rebounds, four assists and five steals. Koch played all 40 minutes of the game.

Missouri St. also had a tough time holding on the ball, giving up 16 turnovers, but WIU gave the ball up 21 times on Wednesday.
