High winds and hail have battered parts of western and southern Missouri, with the heaviest damage being reported in Howell County, at Pottersville. A possible tornado has blown four mobile homes off their foundations and destroyed one. Two people have been hurt. A weather service assessment team will be in the area later to determine if it was a tornado. A possible tornado was reported in Ray County, in northwest Missouri, scattering some debris but reportedly causing no injuries. A spotter also reported a funnel clowd near Lockwood in southwest Missouri’s Dade County. Considerable damage is reported in Monett, in Barry County. No injuries reported there.
