Mike Sillinger scored on a power-play goal 2:58 later to put the Blues on the board, but Holmstrum gave the Red Wings a two-goal advantage later in the period to make it 3-1.

Henrik Zetterberg scored the final goal of the game just 1:31 into the third period.
