After going 1-1 in consecutive five-game matches, the 13th-ranked Missouri volleyball team needed just over an hour and 15 minutes to down Texas Tech in a sweep (30-18, 30-18, 30-19) at the Hearnes Center Wednesday night.

With junior Nicole Wilson serving, the Tigers jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first game. Wilson finished with five service aces on the night.

After trailing 1-0 in the second game, the Tigers went on an 8-0 run and never looked back. Missouri’s dominance continued in game three, rolling to a 21-9 lead.

Shen Danru had 12 kills and eight digs, while Na Yang added 11 kills. Tatum Ailes led the Tigers with nine digs. MU improved to 17-3 and 11-3 in the Big 12, while Texas Tech fell to 11-13 and 4-9.
