If the Houston Astros have their way, there will be no more baseball games at Busch Stadium. The Astros pushed the Cardinals to the brink of elimination on Sunday with a 2-1 win in game four of the NLCS. St. Louis took a 1-0 lead on a sacrifice fly by Albert Pujols in the top of the fourth. The Astros tied the game in the bottom half of the inning on a home run by Jason Lane. Morgan Ensberg’s sacrifice fly in the seventh gave Houston a 2-1 lead. The Cardinals threatened in the ninth, putting runners on first and third with no outs. But Reggie Sanders hit a bouncer to third. Ensberg made a nice play and threw out Pujols at home. John Mabry then grounded into a game-ending 4-6-3 double play. A pair of Cardinals were ejected from Sunday’s game. Home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi tossed manager Tony LaRussa in the seventh for arguing balls and strikes. In the eighth, Cuzzi called Dan Wheeler’s 3-1 pitch to Jim Edmonds a strike. After arguing the call, Edmonds was also thrown out of the game. John Rodriguez finished the at-bat and flew out to center.
