A Claycomo man has been sent to prison for 97 years for sexually and physically abusing four children to whom he was a foster parent. 47-year-old Jacob Sipes had earlier been convicted on eight counts of sodomy, child molestation, and felony child abuse. Sipes maintains his innocence. His attorney is planning an appeal. The four children were members of the same family. The biological parents had been arrested for endangering the welfare of the children.
