The Blues signed 12-year veteran winger Dean McAmmond to a one-year deal on Tuesday. McAmmond, who has suffered from back problems, missed the final 13 games of the 2003-2004 season with the Flames and was unable to play during their run to the Stanley Cup Finals. That year he scored 17 goals and had 13 assists.
