Missouri is going to take part in the In-Case-of-Emergency cell phone (ICE) initiative. The ICE initiative encourages people to enter emergency contact information into their cell phones, and label the entry “ICE.” First responders, emergency service personnel, and law enforcement officials will be able to quickly access the information in the event the owner of the phone is involved in an accident, becomes ill, or is a victim of crime. ICE was created specifically for emergency situations in which a person is unable to report vital contact information.
