General Motors is going to spend $30-Milion on the stamping facility at its van assemlby plant in Wentzville. The company says the plant will be more competitive because of the move. The stamping facility makes hoods, panels, and other parts for full-sized vans built at the factory. The plant makes the Chevrolet Express and the GMC Savana vans. About 2,700 people work there.
