Former Jefferson City Helias High School golfer John Daly teamed up with Tiger Woods last night in the Battle at the Bridges, but the two were no match for Retief Goosen and Phil Mickleson, who won the team match-play exhibition in Rancho Santa Fe, California Monday night.
Goosen birdied four of the last six holes to led he and Mickelson over Daly and Woods 5 and 3.
Goosen and Daly were both coming off of 11 hour flights from Germany, where the two played in the Players Championship of Europe.
