Another of Missouri’s task forces formed to fight drug trafficking expresses alarm at President Bush’s proposed cut of a federal program that funds anti-drug efforts.Officer Mike Hand says the Jackson County Drug Task Force would lose $300,000 if Congress approves the President’s cuts. He says the cuts would leave the task force short-handed when it’s taking down meth labs. Sometimes those efforts require trips to find suppliers or other liinks to meth labs. Hand epects the Senate to restore the funds. He’s not sure about the House.
