Jose Lima may be struggling this year, but one thing seems to be positively consistent about him—he can beat the Indians. Lima improved his lifetime record against Cleveland to 4-0, as the Royals topped the Indians 5-3 in Cleveland Wednesday.

Lima worked around eight hits and a walk to allow two runs in six innings of work. Things looked shaky for him in the fifth inning after allowing two two-out runs. With a 4-0 lead, he put Josh Bard and Brandon Phillips down to retire the first two batters of the inning. But he allowed three straight base hits to Grady Sizemore, Aaron Boone and Coco Crisp. He got Jose Hernandez to ground into a fielder’s choice and Lima left the fifth with the lead.
