A small plane has crashed in southwest Missouri, killing three people and severely injuring another. The State Highway Patrol says the Piper PA-30, a twin-engine airplane, crashed just south of the Aurora airport, about 35 miles southwest of Springfield. Few details are known at this time. The plane crashed in a wooded area. The crash killed three people on impact. The fourth has been taken to a Springfield hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. No cause has been determined. It is believed the plane was rented from the Aurora Airport.
