Springfield native and University of Arkansas golfer Matt Bortis set a Missouri Amateur Championship record by shotting a 62 at Milwood Golf and Racquet Club in Springfield Wednesday. He and 63 other golfers advanced to the match play portion of the event, which begins with one round on Thursday. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be two rounds of match play per day.
