It was about 7:00 o’clock in the morning when the Missouri Pacific passenger train pulled into the station in Kansas City. In the crowd of passengers were four men who met four other men. They began to walk quickly to the parking lot where cars awaited them. But as they got into the cars, three other men appeared, armed with submachine guns and automatic pistols. In a few minutes the Kansas City Union Station Massacre was over. Five men were dead; two others were critically wounded.
