Details of the shooting death of an eight-year-old foster child in Alba earlier this month have come out after a juvenile court hearing in Joplin. The Jasper County juvenile officer says the boy’s 14-year-old foster brother has admitted shooting him accidentally while they were playing cops and robbers with real guns. The older boy has been committed to the state division of youth services until he is 17. Jasper County authorities are still considering whether any charges should be filed agaisnt the foster parents.
