Disabled Missourians who want to return to work can get some help from the Social Security Administration as a Ticket to Work Employment Conference is held in Kansas City. The Social Security Administration’s Sue Suter says the Ticket to Work program is open to any disabled person who wants to return to meaningful employment. The program acts as a safety net for individuals enrolled in it by making sure they have found the right job before they are forced to choose between such things as healthcare coverage and work. The Ticket is given to working age Social Security recipients who can use it to pay for tools, assistance, guidance and other services that will help them find jobs.
