Offensive tackle Kyle Turley was released by the Rams yesterday after failing a physical. He missed the entire 2004 season with a back injury. His departure probably won’t cause head coach Mike Martz.
The player and coach didn’t see eye-to-eye as Turley tried to rehabilitate his back last year. At one point Turley and Martz got into a screaming match at Rams Park which led to Martz filing a complaint with the NFL. He claims Turley threatened him.
Turley came to St. Louis in 2003 after playing for the Saints.
