A computer company in Earth City, near St. Louis, has opened a 63,000 square foot de-manufacturing operation it’s calling an E-Scrap Processing Center. Dan Fuller, founder and President of Executive Personal Computers, says the reason for the operation is to deal with the massive amount of surplus older technology that is being phased out and is no longer usable today’s technology. Fuller says the project provides the most environmentally friendly recycling method of electronic scrap. Much of this e-scrap has hazardous materials that need to be properly handled at the point of disposal.
