In Abilene Texas over the weekend it was probably hard to see much more than flashes of blue.

On Saturday, Lincoln University of Jefferson City won their third straight NCAA Division II women’s outdoor track and field national championship and it wasn’t even close. Lincoln racked up 108 total team points, while their closest competitor, Cal-State Bakersfield finished with just 53.

Sprinter Shandra Brown was able to take home two national titles by winning the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. Kelly Marshall gave LU another championship by finishing first in the 800-meter run.

They also took first in two relay events, winning the 4X100 and 4X400-meter relays.

The Lincoln men finished fourth overall.
