A national study says Missouri’s two biggest cities have some of the worst roads in the nation. In fact, Kansas City is the worst in the report from The Road Information Program. TRIP says 71 percent of the roads in Kansas City are in poor condition. St. Louis is third at 66 percent. The organization doing the rating is funded by companies involved in highway building. TRIP says the rough roads in Kansas City cost motorists an additional $689 a year in repairs. The figure for St. Louis motorists is $609.
